De verschijningsdatum staat gepland voor begin 2024. Koos Verkaik debuteerde in 1972 met de korte SF-roman Adolar (Uitgeverij Civo) en in 2021 verscheen bij Pharo Books de roman Legio over een dreiging die al stamt uit 10.000 v. Chr. In die 50 jaar zijn er volgens zijn eigen website: “over 50 different titles […] published, both for children and adults, countless scripts, several recordings etc. etc.” Het is echter niet makkelijk een goed overzicht te krijgen van zijn oeuvre. Door Isabelle PlomteuxKan je jezelf even voorstellen? Wie is Nicole Leclercq? Vroeger wilde ik altijd actrice worden, maar mijn enige filmervaring was toen ik een seconde in beeld was in de film Zwartboek en mijn hemd van het lijf werd gerukt. Daarna dacht ik dat ik mij beter op het schrijven kon richten. Ik ben wel een hele trage schrijver. Ik werk full-time als business developer aardwarmte en schrijf normaal gesproken alleen als ik op vakantie ben. Als ik om het jaar een boek uitbreng, ben ik blij. Door Mariëlle DoumaAcht jaar na de verschijning van het derde deel in de Graceling Realm-serie, was daar opeens het vierde deel: Winterkeep. Kristin Cashore introduceert in dit boek een volledig nieuw continent met meerdere landen, gelegen aan de rand van de wereld zoals je die tot zover kende uit de serie. Het verhaal speelt zich vier jaar na de laatste gebeurtenissen van Bitterblauw af.
